August 13th, 2016 Werewolf Weird New Jersey Ride. Madison Edition.

26 Jul

This months ride will have a Weird New Jersey theme to it.  We’ll ride to the Hillside Cemetery.  Let’s hope for no rain on this ride.

We’ll also pass some other neat cemeteries as well.

I’ll show you a house that made the local paper in 2004.  It was being moved and broke down in the middle of the road.

We’ll pass the site of Archies Resale shop.  Archie passed away years ago but we’ll see the building from the road.  It is private property with no trespassing these days.

After ride, we’ll visit Poor Herbies for some grub and enjoy some tunes by lifetime member Maribyrd.

This ride will start and finish in front of the Heartly Dodge Memorial Building at 50 Kings rd. Madison.  (across from the train station)

Let’s meet up at 7:15pm  with kickstands up at 7:30pm

Ride stats:  This ride will be approx. 20 miles.   Terrain:  a few short hills but mostly flat.    This is a no drop ride with many stops.

Bring lights and your sense of adventure.

The Birdman

Ride recap:

Six wolves left Madison on a very warm night.  We enjoyed a number of various cemeteries.  pics attached.  Awesome lightning storms in the distance and we managed to stay dry.   Mary and Dan were super.  Food, beer, music and bikes.  It don’t get better than that.

I’ll be riding from home. Leaving the Denville Clock Tower after 6:00 pm and then leaving the Morristown Green a little before 7:00pm.
