Winter is here and it’s getting cold outside.   You know what that means?  It’s time to go bowling!  How about we meet up at the Morristown Green fountain  Saturday January 14th  at 7:00pm.  We’ll take a easy spin to the new bowling alley in Madison called Stryxe.  Round trip distance will be aprox. 15 miles.

Anybody who brings a bowling ball will be treated to a free game.

If your lucky, you might even see some turkeys or maybe even a chicken.

Well grab your shoes, and grab your balls And lets head to those heavenly halls Sit on down and grab a beer Because bowling time is pretty near Tortured men forget their pain When they head to the bowling lane

Ride Recap:

Five of us braved the snow covered streets of Morristown for our yearly bowling ride.  The Traction line was in better shape than some of the roads.  We took a break by the tracks and discussed future ride ideas as the snow flurries continued to fall.  When we arrived to Strykes, there was a long waiting list so we went to their bar and restaurant.  It was a little fancy for our taste.  Larry was typically late and met us at the lanes.   Bowling was fun as usual.  This years winner was Bill with a whopping 108.  The lanes seemed to lack oil which resulted in an even more hook(all the way into the gutter)  The ride back was interesting passing drunk bar hoppers as they scream words of encouragement to us.  We just howled back.  I needed it because I was beat.  Until next time.  Awwwwooooooooo!
